Today in the field of behavioral health, drug selection and dosing are often trial and error. Clinicians prescribe drugs based on standards of care. There are many drugs from which to choose and individual patients have highly variable responses. Doses are started at low levels initially to avoid adverse events and are increased slowly until a result is observed. This approach, driven by the need to avoid adverse events, lengthens the time that patients continue to experience disease symptoms.

AssureRx Health aims to decipher the high variance in response to psychiatric medications due to individual genetic variability and help get patients on the right drug early in the treatment process. Our product, GeneSightRx, is a clinical decision support tool for clinicians. Through the use of genetic testing and analysis of the results, GeneSightRx provides clinicians with an easy-to-read report classifying the psychiatric medications suited for each individual patient.
